While shopping in the medieval streets you’ll come across lots of charming details on the carefully restored medieval houses. The many glass crafting shops are not to be missed - those have made Rattenberg known as "the glass town".
Sights such as the Augustiner museum, the "Nagelschmiedhäuser" with a handicraft museum, the town parish church and glassblowing in "Haus Kisslinger" are always worth a visit.
From the castle ruins on the "Schlossberg" you can enjoy a wonderful view to the Inn valley. In July the romantic Schlossberg is being converted into an open air theatre where venues take place.
