The atmosphere in our Gourmetrestaurant Fuggerstube is unique. It dates from the 15Jhdt, has survived two fires in the Böglerhof and is still original today.
Its name comes from the time when the Augsburg Fugger family mined silver and copper in Alpbach. At that time, the Böglerhof was the property of the Fuggers and the Fuggerstube was the courtroom for the miners. The history of the Böglerhof as a place of hospitality and meeting goes back a long way. The Fuggerstube was a tavern for a long time - so it has always been a popular meeting place.
Opposite the Fuggerstube there is still an old, massive iron door that led into the silver warehouse. This iron door and the Fuggerstube remind us of the long history of the house.
Today the Gourmetrestaurnt Fuggerstube is our gourmet restaurant and has been awarded two toques by Gault Millau.

On request also vegetarian.
We are happy to serve a wine accompaniment to match the menu.
