The Alpbach Nature & Heritage Trail

Our hiking tip for September

Hike through the history and beautiful nature of your holiday destination.

Total length: approx. 4 kilometres
Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours
Level of difficulty: medium
Requirements: good fitness level and sturdy shoes

Start your hike directly at Hotel Böglerhof and walk approximately 500 metres eastwards until you reach Congress Centrum Alpbach. Cross the small bridge there and turn right at the next fork. Continue until Mühlbach and then cross the Mühlbach bridge. Path A3 now leads you through the forest, past a barbecue area, a children’s playground, and a Kneipp facility. Along the way, information boards in German and English give you interesting insights into the rich history and nature of Alpbach.

Are you and your kids spending your family holidays in the Austrian Alps? Then you can all enjoy some mountain wonder – because the circular walk is a real highlight for little adventurers, too. Please bear in mind that the terrain isn’t suitable for prams or pushchairs.
