Autumn hikes in Alpbachtal

Alpbachtal is a real paradise for hiking fans. Let us tell you which hikes belong on your bucket list this autumn.
Majestic mountain peaks, rustling leaves, and warming sunshine – autumn in Alpbachtal beckons you outside to hike in the fresh mountain air. One worthwhile autumn hike leads up to the sunny peak of Voldöpper Spitze. At 1,509 metres above sea level, you’ll enjoy a unique view of the Rofan mountain range. The ascent from Kramsach, just a few kilometres away from our Böglerhof, which is incidentally one of the loveliest ski hotels in Austria, follows a mostly snow-free and sunny trail.
Alternatively, you can enjoy a mountain pasture experience on a circular tour to Farmkehralm hut in Alpbach. The rustic hut in Greiter valley can be reached by hikers of all ages via a hunting trail in 1.5 hours. Once you arrive, you’ll be able to savour mouth-watering delicacies made from natural, regional products. The Breitenbach pasture hike is another popular autumn tour. The long but sunny loop leads past various pastures and huts and treats you to fantastic views.
